Few days ago I posted about just totally loving the Widebody rear flares of the Strosek kit. Well, I was on the full on power trip ( power parts only ) for the Black car, but felt it necessary to divert my plans for this kit that one of the board members said he could get a very good deal for myself and a few others that he mentioned would get in on it as well. Well, we contacted each other via email for the first few days, then it went silent. I written him sense then we no reply, but he's been on here since then. So, guess it didn't come threw as planned. Then that guy who posted the pictures of his NA Z out in Texas last week has taken the 5th. He as almost everyone can see says nothing, reply's nothing and doesn't return emails either, yet ask questions on here? Does he really own this car? Who knows...... anyway. I'm still going to get this kit, Just looks like I'm getting back on the power mods and then come back to the part of the car. Until I got a better system of people to go with of obtaining it. I've already got the rims picked out and will order those soon. After searching on here, it seems that the aray of prices for this kit are more then most not even close in price. Some shops have just the rear flares at $3000, some a tad lower and Strosek themselves have it at 1210 EUR which is around $1307 us dollars. That and add shipping, even though guy on here said he could get it for 1070 EUR which is $1156 plus shipping. I think the best bet seems to look more at this and not rush it like I did once I seen those pictures from the silent NA guy's post. I like many other members have known of this kit for years and years. Just never really looked that way much, until now. But it making more since at a time where a 335 tire is pretty much a need, not a want in terms of where I'm taking the car. Plus the fact that the Z with the widebody kit and the 335 tires, super deep lip 12" or 13" rims puts it right in the European exotic look. You have the advantage of doing turbo up grades with the other necessary upgrades to even out power cars of that class and still not even come close to the over all dollar figure. Another thing is looking on here for Z's with widebody kits, came across two NA's with this conversion done. One, the guy just the other day with his 335's and then The Yellow Enki Z with it's 295's. Now personally thinking to myself, here is great looking cars, but talk about power to modifications waste of money. With cars that on the high end run just over 200rwhp and to have 335/295 tires? Gotta be all in the looks department here. I mean, what's the torque of these NA's as well? I couldn't even see these cars doing burn outs without killing there clutch or transmissions in the process.
